On arrival we received a warm welcome from our cousins Isabel, Ze and George in their beautiful home. It was time for us to reminisce about Angola and all our adventures since the last time we saw each other.
The next day, after catching up with the news from the family and friends George and I went to the supermarket to stock for a "Churrasco" (Angolan barbeque chicken).
It was the men's turn to cook and we prepared a scrumptious chicken barbeque for lunch. I used a trick that I saw in Australia which uses a brick to squash the chicken against the hot plate cooking it evenly.
Later in the evening Filu and I went to see one Circle du Soleil shown: Ka. It was a typical Circle du Soleil show, full of colour, movement and impressive acrobatics
The next day we organised a trip to the Grand Canyon . We flew an helicopter from Las Vegas, over the Hoover Dam and then all along the canyon. We landed next to the Skywalk and walk through it, suspended over the canyon. Not as good as we expected.
The last day in Vegas was spend at home and in the afternoon we visited the Red Rocks, a beautiful rock formation in the outskirts of Las Vegas. Next day we flew to New York.
