Filomena was the first to arrive. She arrived in the morning from Singapore and in the evening Rita, Jamie, Isabella and Ava Sofia arrived from Tasmania. I arrived next day from South Africa.
It was great to be back after more than 6 weeks living out of a suitcase, despite the fact that we had a good time. There is nothing like home, our bed and the familiar surroundings.
With the house full of laughter and confusion we started trying to adjust from the jet lag. 12 hours difference from Brasil and 8 from Portugal leave a mark on our sleeping pattern.
We did not have time to adjust and were already celebrating Fathers Day with a day on the beach at Bribie Island and the first BBQ at home. We also had Bruno's soccer semi-final, a day in Mooloolabah with Rita and the visit of our friend David Conceição.
The weather started warming up and the usual pool activities started. We couldn't miss Miguel and Daniela's Assembly at school, as Daniela received an award and Miguel sang in the choir.
As you can see we had to hit the ground running and are now fully recovered from jet lag and back into our usual routine. This is the final chapter of our 2012 Round the World Trip and we hope you enjoyed our memories
