The ceremony took place at the Seaside Wedding Chapel a beautiful chapel overlooking the Pacific Ocean and surrounded by a luxurious and charming tropical forest.
On arrival the guests were welcomed by the Fijian Serenaders Trio and inside a carol of Fijian ladies enchanted us with the most melodious island songs.
We were all casually dressed up for the occasion lending a dab of colour to the green of the forest.
Rita arrived on a white car irradiating happiness and making me choke of emotion; my little girl was going to get married!!!
The atmosphere in the chapel was solemn but cheerful, in synch with the Island culture.
A local priest conducted the ceremony and Jamie struggled to understand his accent and almost answered NO to the question: Do you Jamie Oakley take Rita Costa as you beloved wife?
Rita was a true image of happiness and thoroughly enjoyed the ceremony as you can see from the photos.
The photo shoot after the ceremony was not the drag it normally is (mine at least was) probably because of the beautiful scenery where it took place.
