We had a reasonably large wedding with our close relatives and friends attending the ceremony and reception. In those days there was no Wedding Planers and all the food and preparations were carried out by Filomena’s family, her mother in particular.
My parents came all the way from Mavinga and relatives from Luanda, Silva Porto, Lobito and Nova Lisboa joined us to celebrate our special day.
