2018 was marred by the death of my father in August 28th in Brazil. He died at 94 years of age in Curitiba, Brazil. He died peacefully with my mother on his side. He now rests in peace in Pontal do Sul where he lived for the last ten years. Unfortunately I was not able to be at the funeral but soon will be visiting my mother that is now in a retirement village in Curitiba.
During the first quarter of the year I had my annual visit to Brazil to see my parents and our Brazilian family.
A visit to Tasmania took place on Quarter II and we also had a visit of our friends Margaret and Jaco from Sydney.
Quarter III found me doing a job for Endeavour Foundation and I would tell you more about this remarkable company in the Quarter III section. We also spent holidays in Portugal for almost a month.
In Quarter IV I undertook a gruelling 10 weeks job with Endeavour Foundation which saw me travelling from Rockhampton in the north to Roma in the south.
A brief visit to Tasmania to look after our lovely granddaughter and Xmas in Tassie closed the activities of this year.
2018 foi ensombrado com o falecimento do meu Pai a 30 de Agosto no Brasil. Ele faleceu com 94 anos em Curitiba, Brasil de uma forma serena e acompanhado pela minha Mãe. Ele descança em paz agora no Pontal do Sul, onde viveu nos últimos 10 anos. Infelizmente não foi possível eu atender ao funeral mas em breve estarei de visita ao Brasil para passar uns tempos com a minha Mãe que agora se encontra numa residência para idosos em Curitiba.
Durante o primeiro trimestre do ano fui como de costume ao Brasil passar uns tempos com os meus Pais e a minha familia Brasileira.
No segundo Trimestre fizemos uma visita à Tasmania e também, tivemos a visita dos nossos amigos Margaret em Jaco de Sydney.
No terceiro Trimestre estive envolvido num trabalho para a Endeavour Foundation e dar-vos-ei mais pormenores detas fantástica companhia na secção do Trimestre III. Fomos também passar cerca de um mês a Portugal de férias.
No ultimo Trimestre tive um trabalho muito pesado de 10 semanas para a Endeavour Foundation que me levou de Rockhampton no norte até Roma no sul.
Uma breve visita à Tasmania para tomar conta das nossas netas em Novembro e a quadra Natalicia na Tasmania fecharam as actividades do ano.
