The Bogd Khaan, was the twenty third incarnation of Taranatkha one of the supreme leader of the Tibetan Buddism (known as the yellow faith) and was born in Lhasa, Tibet in 1869, son of an official of the Dalai Lama and was called Agvaanluvsanchoijinnyam. In 1871 they found out that he was the eight incarnation of Bodg Jivsundamba. Two years later, the Manchu Qing emperor (then in charge of Mongolia), sent the little Bodg Jiv….. from Tibet to Mongolia where he arrived in 1874. He was greeted by the aristocrats and worshippers and became the religious leader of Mongolia. After the collapsed of the Manchu empire in 1911 Bodg Jiv….. became the political authority in Mongolia and received the name of Bodg Khaan (Holy King). He governed Mongolia as a constitutional monarch from the time of the Mongolia People’s Revolution in 1921, until his death from disease in 1924. After that Mongolia became a socialist state.
