The famous Bull Kelp of the Tasmania waters. For a diver not familiar with it can be a harrowing and even dangerous experience diving amongst the bull kelp. Bull Kelp is used for ice cream additives, perfumes and fertiliser. King Island has a very active industry of drying kelp to be processed overseas.
