Soon we came across a couple on a Hyundai 2 wheel drive utility, bogged to their ears in the sand. We hooked the strap on it and pulled it out of the sand. As good Samaritans we told them to go ahead of us so that we would help if they needed. It was like a prophecy and some 500 metres ahead they bogged the car again. Full of confidence we hooked the strap again but this time we both end up stuck to our ears in the sand. Took the four of us more than half an hour to finally get the cars out of the sand. Free from the sand the Hyundai took off in front of us like a rocket and this time we never saw it again.
