When Angolans gather, a meal of Muambá is a “must”. Muambá is a stew type meal of chicken, kiabos (lady fingers), bringela (egg plant), oleo de dendém (palm oil) and lombi (manioc leaves that we need to replace with spinaches). The stew is accompanied by pirão (a mush of corn and manioc flour cooked in water and sal).
