On the way to Riba Bestança we stopped at Viseu where our old Angolan friend Almeida lives. We met him in one of the city shopping centres and then went to his house where we met the family and had lunch.

On the way back from Riba Bestança we met our cousin Carui in Coimbra and once more we had suckling pig for lunch. The last time I saw Carui was in Namibia. He came all the way from Angola to have dinner with me in Swakopmund.
