Tourigo is a small vilage in the Tondela shire, with 512 inhabitantes (2011 census) one of them our great friend Fátima. We had some difficulties in finding information about the village in the on line encyclopedias, despite the fact our friend Fátima ensured us that Tourigo was the nervous centre of Portugal.
The road to Tourigo is tortuouse but there was some construction in progress and therefore we would not be surprised if shortly Tourigo is served, as it deserves, by a first class highway.
Our friends Fátima and Wayne live in Sydney were we get together often. Fátima is one of the best Portuguese chefes in Australia where she runs the Fine Cuisine where we are always presented with the best Portugueses gastronomy can produce. Fátima was born in Tourigo where she has a Mansion where we spent a wonderful day and obviously were served a mouth-watering lunch.
We hope the photos in the next page show Tourigo as the beautiful place it is.
