Bruny Island is one of the most popular day trips from Hobart and therefore catching the ferry to cross the Entrecasteaux channel is a problem. During the peak hours we need to be there one hour before the ferry departs. The system is “first in, first served” and therefore you cannot expect to get into the ferry if you arrive just in time.
