At Belém Tower. The tower was built in the early 16th century and is a prominent example of the Portuguese Manueline style. The tower was first designed by King John II but he died before it had the opportunity to start. D. Manuel start the construction and it was finished in 1519, two yeard before he died. We always visit the tower when we are in Lisbon but lately the long queues to go in stopped us to visit inside.
