Last time I was in UB I tried to visit the Bogd Khaan Palace Museum but it was closed. This time I was luckier. The entrance fee was 8,000 Tughrik (A$ 4) and it allowed me to take photos of the outside of the buildings. To take photos inside, would be another 50,000 Tughrik (A$ 30). Looking at the buildings from the outside, I suspected that the inside was not worth the 50,000 turgut and decide not to get the photo authorisation… big mistake!!! The museum has some very interesting pieces and I regreted not having the authorisation for the photos and share with you what I saw.
