The red arrow shows the ferry route to Moreton Island. The trip takes approximately 75 minutes on a modern and well appointed ferryboat.

Very popular destination to boat owners and this was the initial plan for this trip.

The men would go by boat and the women and children by ferry. However the presence of the cyclone Woti heading towards the area made us change the plans and leave the boat at home.
